The obvious difference is that Bell Museum is part of Minnesota's University system. Ownership of our Public Museum by the UW system would make more sense than whatever the current ownership really is. Former curators were adjunct instructors at UWM and MIAD. Students of UWM have used MPM resources in their research. It was those same curators and researchers who made MPM world class. It is no longer world class.
